Library Bar & Morning Room Interconnecting and with the feel of a gentleman’s club, the Library Bar and Morning Room provide the perfect spot for your guests to congregate before the ceremony for pre-ceremony drinks. Dating from 1640 the rooms are part of the enfilade of state rooms erected by the Sydenham family at the time of the restoration of King Charles 1st. The Library Bar has an open fire and club chairs to relax in as well a restored 1920’s bar counter. The Morning Room is furnished with comfortable sofas and a full-size snooker table. As well as pre-ceremony drinks these spaces are extensively used by couples hiring the house for a House Party Wedding Weekend in which the night before celebration tends to centre on these rooms.
